Condition as of Sept 22

‘Sold as Seen’ Declaration of Condition - Jobs that need doing or repair:

(Innisfree is 43 years old so age related condition should be acknowledged)

  • Teak decking, mostly on the foredeck and side decks, is showing age and the effects of the Mediterranean sun, with much of the caulking opening between the planks. The previous owner had the decks sanded down and removed about 3mm of the finished wood which was criminal act worthy of jail time! I have started the long process recaulking having started on the after deck with 3/4 now completed. This is a labour of love if you do it yourself yet very gratifying and just needs time and tlc. When all finished the decks will look fabulous and watertight.

  • The white topsides paintwork on the superstructure is currently being renewed in sections. This is much easier to do and gives instant kerb appeal.

  • The anchor winch/gypsy is not working and needs investigation and servicing. Might just be the solenoid!

  • The boat benefits from extensive canvas to protect her from the sun and rain.  The flybridge cover has just been serviced and improved, along with some side panel zips and glazing.

  • The engines start up straight away and work fine. However, they have lacked a bit of tlc and could do with a coat of gloss paint and general tidying up. The port engine has had the cooling system overhauled in 2019. Port engine oil pressure gauge reads incorrectly. Sacrificial pencil anodes are due replacement (held).

  • There is a small weep from the port SS freshwater tank into the bilge which does not cause much concern.

  • Stern Navigation light needs replacing.

  • Foredeck hatch glazing is crazed, could do with replacing.
